Belmare Restaurant – Mamaia Nord

Belmare Restaurant is a contemporary building with a maritime inspiration, located on the seafront, designed to offer a permanent connection between the interior and exterior and maximum visibility towards the beach. Its design emphasizes transparency, luminosity, and panorama, so that visitors can enjoy the view of the Black Sea from almost any point on the floor.

The ground floor is dedicated to commercial spaces, conceived with high flexibility to allow for modular and adaptable store organization. Access is direct from the promenade and the pedestrian area of the cliff, and the generous glazed facades offer both maximum visibility for shop windows and a natural visual continuity between the pedestrian flow and the interior. The exterior finishes combine premium materials resistant to the marine environment—treated natural stone, composite panels, and glazed surfaces—while ensuring an elegant and modern look.

The Belmare restaurant is located on the first floor, an open and spectacular space surrounded by fully glazed facades facing the sea. The perimeter terrace extends the outdoor serving area and offers a 270° panoramic experience of the seaside. The interior is designed as a free structure, without intermediate columns, to allow maximum visibility and flexibility in arrangement. High ceilings, wave-inspired decorative elements, and abundant natural light create a premium and relaxing atmosphere.

The materials and visual expression of the building convey contemporary elegance: ample glazing with minimalist joinery, ventilated panels, and accents of marine-treated wood. The reinforced concrete structure with wide floor slabs supports the large, free spaces that define the restaurant’s open character. Clean horizontal lines, the contrast between transparency and natural materials, and the discreet volumetric integration into the landscape create a harmonious visual landmark on the Mamaia Nord cliff.

Belmare Restaurant contributes to the activation of the tourist promenade through the commercial spaces on the ground floor and the spectacular opening toward the sea, while respecting the urban scale of the area. It is a building that becomes a visual and functional attraction point for tourists and locals alike.
