Vela by the Sea
Vela by the Sea is a boutique aparthotel located just 100 meters from the beach, in the heart of the Mamaia Nord area. The project is distinguished by its contemporary architecture, designed to offer a complete visual and sensory experience, where natural light, openness to the sea, and premium materials combine in a cohesive and refined concept.
The volumetric design of the building is balanced and airy, with a subtle interplay of setbacks and solids that lend dynamism to the facades. The upper floors create private terraces and loggias oriented toward the sea, offering residents spectacular views. This volumetric fragmentation is not only aesthetic but also functional, ensuring privacy and a direct relationship with the exterior environment.
The facades stand out through a harmonious combination of ample glazed surfaces and premium finishes, chosen for their durability and to reflect the project’s discrete elegance. Ceramic panels in shades of white and anthracite create a subtle contrast, while the balconies with matte black details and HPL-clad soffits accentuate the contemporary character. Architectural lighting integrated into the balconies and setbacks highlights the building’s silhouette in the evening, transforming it into a visual landmark on the coastal landscape.
The interior is conceived as a continuation of the exterior philosophy: open, bright spaces, with generous windows that bring the sea to the forefront of the living experience. The apartments are arranged so that most benefit from a direct sea view, and the internal circulations are designed efficiently and elegantly, ensuring both comfort and functionality.
The ground floor of the building is dedicated to commercial functions and includes a supermarket, designed to meet the daily needs of residents and tourists.
